Asset Tagging / Labelling
Omtech offer the following in terms of Asset Tagging;
- Plan, application and management of an appropriate methodological asset strategy for an efficient Asset Information Management Systems Database for Contractors
- Collection of mechanical, electrical and architectural asset information on Contractor Projects using designers information, specification, schematics and drawings.
- Identification of asset type and category in the Asset Database.
- Assigning unique identification number to each asset group used on the project to ensure easy identification
- Determining the type of assets that requires labelling.
- Entering all asset and associated information into the asset tracking system.
- Management of Asset Data and information activities in a large organisation or a large multi-disciplined project, with multiple contracts and stakeholders’ interests.
- Quality assurance and verification of asset information including undertaking of regular quality site checks to ensure work progression, workmanship and service delivery standards meet a set and agreed programme
- Verification of correct asset labelling on large scale project sites,
- Allocation of equipment labels on large scale project sites and managing the change and issue management process for all technical standards/requirements,
- Ensuring that all asset auditing works are carried out within the terms of the contract & that issues influencing the life cycle/planned maintenance programme are noted and implemented,
- Ensuring that all works meet the agreed programme and that they conform to CDM Regulations, appropriate Codes of Practice, Quality Plans and associated H&S legislation/codes of practice including general administration duties,
- Preparing regular asset management reports on each asset and ensuring that all records of asset information documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
Omtech offer the following in terms of Asset labelling;
- Creating of Asset Labelling Position and Installation document to create acceptable standards of labelling
- Fixing of asset tag to assets at positions that do not affect the performance or aesthetic value of the asset.
- Mapping out asset locations on drawings to ensure fast and quality asset labelling
- Provision of evidential photograph for each asset tag installed
- Quality assurance and verification of asset labels on site ensure that all assets follow:
- Statutory requirements for HSE performance, local planning authority requirements,
- Grid company connection conditions and power purchase agreements,
- Reporting requirements under asset facility agreements and other requirements.
